LIFE CARE PLANNING
Saving Employers Money & Ensuring the Best Possible Care for Employees
Life Care Plan (LCP) Reports provide a detailed assessment of individuals who have sustained a catastrophic injury. Our comprehensive reports establish the current and projected future care needed for the injured worker to achieve a quality existence. It summarizes the medical, psychosocial, educational, vocational, and daily living needs of the injured worker.
The Life Care Plan (LCP) outlines a cost assessment of care and equipment needed for the injured worker over the injured worker’s lifetime in an easy-to-read format based on evidence-based standards of care. Our knowledgeable team of certified life care planners are available to defend the LCP if litigation is necessary.
WHEN TO CONSIDER AN LCP
Consider an LCP when the worker has a catastrophic injury and the file is in litigation. Catastrophic injuries may include loss of limb, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries (paraplegic, quadriplegic, or tetraplegic), second- or third-degree burns, or multiple body traumas.
